Stop Skin Picking Coach

Does indecision make you pick or pull?

I always found I was most vulnerable to starting to pick at my skin when I didn't know what I was going to do next.  It was a huge problem for me when I was unemployed or working part time.  Not only did I have the anxiety that came from not enough work and therefore income, but mentally weighing the options of what to do next several times a day made me feel anxious and stuck, and I would go right to the mirror to pick my face.

What helped me with indecision was scheduling my time.  The evening before, I would plan out the day in blocks of time, so I could wake up and follow my schedule.  When all the decisions had been already made the day before on paper, it was much less anxiety-provoking than deciding in-the-moment what to do next.  It may take a little practice in setting up a realistic schedule you can follow, but it's definitely worth doing.  Soon it will become a very good habit, and we can all use more of those. ;-)

Do you need motivation, support and accountability for your efforts to make positive changes like scheduling to stop picking your skin, pulling your hair or biting your nails, lips or skin?  Check out what my coaching can do for you here.
